What do you think is more powerful? Your will-power or your imagination? What among the two is going to be more helpful in taking your life forward on the path of success?

Consider an acrobat walking on a tightrope. He walks from one side to the other balancing himself on the rope. He is skilled at it. But besides that, what prevents him from falling? Looking down, if he imagines what would happen to him if he falls down or that he is too high that he may be killed if he falls, then he cannot perform the feat. It's his imagination which matters.

If you start walking on the same tightrope with immense will-power and confidence, but once on the rope, you look down and imagine yourself falling, your will-power and confidence will fail. Once you imagine yourself failing, your will power to win is nullified. Consider this. Can you walk on a one-feet wide platform which is raised by two feet from ground? It doesn't need a special skill, you would say. It's easy. You can do it. You are 100% confident. Now, what if the same platform is raised to 35 metres from ground (the height of a ten-storey building)? Now? It's the same one-feet wide platform. If you fall on either side, you die. But why should you fall? You can easily walk over a one-feet wide platform. You have immense will power. You know you can do it. But still, you cannot do it. Because once on the platform, you look down and imagine yourself falling. That scares you off, hangs the will-power to death. Imagination is always much more powerful than will-power.

Imagine good. Then build a will-power to achieve it.

Make castles in air. Then, build the foundation.

Of course it's my own! There's no meaning writing in my blog someone else's words.
The idea that imagination is stronger than will power is of course not my invention. But the words are mine.

@Ankit,is it imagination vs will power OR Logic Vs Will Power?

@sona: Couldn't be Logic vs Will Power, but maybe Logic vs Imagination in this case. What I tried to do here is to establish by logic that the man cannot fall off, then used that logic to boost his will power. (He KNOWS that he can't fall !). But then I let him imagine that he is falling ...
